Landscape Patterns Environmental Quality Analysis
Client Oldman Watershed Council
Location Alberta | Canada
This project consisted of a wide-ranging literature review on the relationships between human land use, landscape patterns, and environmental quality for a variety of valued watershed and ecosystem components. The study reviewed over 172 publications on this topic, delivered an annotated bibliography and accompanying searchable database, and compiled a synthesis report to illustrate key findings.
The report also summarized notable targets or thresholds for landscape indicators compiled in easy-to-use tables, as well as discussions on management implications.
