Andrew Palmiere

Andrew holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from Queen's University, and a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Geography from the University of Calgary. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners, the Alberta Professional Planners Institute and the Association of Professional Community Planners of Saskatchewan. Andrew also holds a Certificate in Public Engagement from the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2).

Andrew has over 10 years of experience working on high profile urban planning and urban design projects across Canada and overseas. His work emphasizes the linkages between policy, implementation and urban design. Andrew has a refined ability to facilitate complex technical solutions within multi-stakeholder environments, and he has extensive experience in policy development, community design, public engagement, and municipal approvals. Central to his approach to planning is a belief that great places are defined by environmental responsibility, economic vitality, vibrant culture, social discourse, creative design, and a quality of life that is both desirable and sustainable.
