
Andrew Palmiere
Principal, Senior Urban AND Regional Planner
Andrew holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from Queen's University, and a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Calgary. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners, the Alberta Professional Planners Institute, the Planning Institute of British Columbia and the Association of Professional Community Planners of Saskatchewan. Andrew alsoholds a Certificate in Public Engagement from the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2).
Andrew has worked for over 10 years on high profile urban planning and urban design projects in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario and overseas. His work emphasizes the linkages between policy, implementation and urban design. Andrew has a refined ability to facilitate complex technical solutions within multi-stakeholder environments, and he has extensive experience in policy development, community design, public engagement, and municipal approvals.
Andrew is a Principal at O2 where he manages the firm’s Urban and Regional Planning team. Central to his approach to planning is a belief that great places are defined by environmental responsibility, economic vitality, vibrant culture, social discourse, creative design, and a quality of life that is both desirable and sustainable.
