ANDY THOMAS

Visualization Specialist

Andy Thomas holds a Master’s degree in Geography from the University of Manitoba, specializing in remote sensing. He is versed in the application of high resolution aerial and satellite imagery for resource management and Internet Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications.

Andy has considerable experience in the geomatics industry. His project experience includes the visual analysis of oil and gas installations in southern Alberta and 3D perspective photo-realistic simulations of current and proposed recreational trails. Many of his current projects at O2 involve the use of 3D simulations to assist in the evaluation of the visual impact of human activity in sensitive landscape.
